Elder Futhark
Found this cool photo on Unsplash.com. I feel like it sums me up pretty well, to be honest: a weariness from the weight of the world being on your shoulders that only a cigarette can qualm.

I remember the first time I stumbled upon rune tattoos online. Their design captivated me as well as their deep-rooted origins in Celtic and Norse culture. I became hooked ever since and decided to start a blog based around my odd passion. That’s when Rune-Tattoos was born. Apparently, this domain name was associated with a previous website that was based around the same sort of genre – runic tattoos, celtic mythology, etc. This resemblance is completely coincidental, and I have no association with the old website owner.

I call myself Elder Futhark based, obviously, on the runic alphabet. You can read more about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elder_Futhark

I take my anonymity seriously being an advocate of privacy, but that doesn’t mean we can’t chat! Hit me up on the contact page if you want a shout out on my blog or have any questions about my content.

In all reality, I am a simple man living in the States (though I fantasize about living in Ireland) who spends his time sitting in front of a computer all day doing online marketing as his day job and admiring Celtic and Norse mythology and culture on my off time (along with all the rest of my hobbies which include music, reading, writing, and walking in nature).

I built this site to be an informational guide for people looking for information on rune tattoos or, really, any kinds of tattoos in general. Hope you like the content, and thanks for reading!
