This service is designed to help individuals and tattoo
artists by providing expert consultancy on runes and runic design.
Runes is a vast subject area requiring many
years of study and practice to master. For example, the seemingly simple
task of putting together a rune monogram or short rune script is fraught
with difficulty. I am asked questions like the following a dozen times a
week:
Which runes to use - Viking, Elder Futhark,
Anglo-Saxon Futhorc, Armanen runes or what other types are there?
What does each rune mean and what is its
magical significance?
Is there any danger to the artist or the
client from incorrect use of runes?
How do I transcribe names, words and phrases
into runes?
Which rune is equivalent to which letter of
our modern alphabet?
Are there any right and wrong colors?
Is it OK to turn a rune upside-down or
present it as a mirror-image?
Do I write runes left-to-right,
right-to-left, top-to-bottom or what?

Communication and Reporting Communication by email or postal correspondence at no additional cost.
Written reports can be supplied in a number of formats including Email, Word documents, Microsoft Publisher files, Acrobat PDF files
or hard copy. Telephone communication within
UK at no additional cost. Telephone calls to locations outside UK will be charged at cost.

Expenses Daily or weekly consultancy is available at your own
location by arrangement. Broadband or cable internet access for a laptop computer must be made available. Payment for travel, accommodation, meals and (if needed) local vehicle rental at cost will be added to your bill.
The duration of the consultancy contracted must include the travelling time between Milton Keynes, UK and your location.
Language Written reports and spoken presentations will be rendered in English.
Payment Schedule Payment in advance is required for hourly consultancy. Daily or weekly consultancy will require an advance payment of
50% of the
estimated total cost. The balance will be due before delivery of the final report or presentation.
